Alabama
Albertville: Homewood The Network won Diamond Classic for the tenth time. It is also Homewood’s fourth consecutive win, dating back to February 3, 2024.
Indiana
Decatur Central: Roncalli outlasted Lawrence North in finals to take the overall win. The triumph is Royal Rhapsody’s fourth overall Grand Championship and first since Warren Central in 2023. Roncalli also became the first repeat winner in Decatur Central history, as they also won the inaugural 2023 edition.
Fishers: Center Grove won Silver Spotlight for the sixth time, the most of any group. It was also the fifth consecutive win at Fishers for Sound System. They now sit at 92 recorded wins and could get close to 100 with another handful of wins by the end of the season.
Northrop: Carroll Magic won for the second weekend in a row, this time over Fort Wayne rival Homestead. Carroll now has four wins at Northrop, tied with DeKalb and Loveland for the most all-time, and 31 total wins, tied with Pleasant Hill.
Southmont: Plainfield Belles et Beaux started its season off with a win over El Paso-Gridley. The triumph marked B&B’s 15th win in Indiana, putting them at the same mark as Northrop and Homestead.
Iowa
Anamosa: Marion New Creation won 3A in prelims and took the overall Grand Championship. It’s New Creation’s first win since 2023. With a win in 2025, they have now won a competition in five of the last six seasons.
Ankeny Centennial: Ankeny Visual Adrenaline won its crosstown competition for the first time. It’s VA’s second win of the season and their 34th recorded win, pushing them past Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
Davenport North: Davenport Central won Big Dance for the fourth time, putting CSI second on the all-time winners list. They only trail Prairie, who has five wins at Big Dance. It was Central’s second consecutive win at the event.
Glenwood: Bishop Heelan broke through late last season for its first win since 2018. Now, Harmonia Mundi is starting the season off right with a clean sweep over Dallas Center-Grimes. Heelan is the fifth different winner of the six years that Glenwood has hosted.
Prairie: Linn-Mar took the Premiere win for the sixth time in history, sweeping and putting all three groups in finals. 10th Street Edition’s winning streak now stands at 16 straight competitions, dating back to February 2020.
Massachusetts
Shepherd Hill: Waltham notched its tenth win overall and its third at Central Mass with a vocals/choreo win over Daniel Hand. Music Unlimited has now won at least once in each of its last five competition seasons.
Minnesota
Bloomington Kennedy: Hastings Riverside Company took the win at Gold for the first time, outpacing seven-time winner Waconia, who placed second. Riverside now has 49 recorded wins and has won at least one competition each of the past 17 competitive seasons.
Mississippi
Jackson Academy: Grenada Visions took a split-caption win over Tupelo Synergy. It marked Grenada’s third win at JASI, tying them with Brandon for most all-time, and the tenth overall win for Visions.
Mississippi Contest (PRCC): Petal claimed its tenth win at the contest, similar to fellow southern titan Homewood claiming its tenth win at Albertville this weekend. Soundsations have now won at least one competition each of the past nine years.
South Jones: West Jones Imagination took its fifth win at South Jones, taking two captions away from the heavily-favored Brandon Brio. It’s Imagination’s ninth win overall and third in the past two seasons.
Nebraska
Lincoln East: Gretna East once again came out on top of Elkhorn South, Papio South, and Norris. It is Equinox’s second win as a program. Gretna East is the fifth different winner of Spartan Spectacular.
Omaha Westside: Millard West came out swinging and won its 2025 debut. It is WIG’s third win at Competition of Excellence and first since 2023. Millard West now has 25 recorded wins, on par with schools like ETC and Waukee.
Ohio
Marion Harding: Marysville Swingers Unlimited won Singsational for the fourth consecutive year and eighth time overall. Marysville currently has 62 recorded wins, tied with Westside for 10th all-time.
Walsh Jesuit: Fresh off a finals appearance last week at North Royalton, Euclid stormed to Best Vocals and Best Choreography while claiming its first-ever recorded win. Varsity Chorale beat Martinsburg (10 wins) and Garfield Heights (9 wins) to claim the overall win.
South Dakota
Sioux Falls Roosevelt: Sioux City East won Executive Showcase for the fourth time, most of any group. The Headliners have two wins this year, marking the first time since 2020 they’ve won multiple competitions. SCE also now has 38 recorded wins, putting them in sole possession of 31st all-time.
West Virginia
Hurricane: Solon swept Red Hot Championships for the second year in a row. Somewhat shockingly, Solon is the first recorded repeat winner in 12 different years of the event. Music in Motion now has 32 recorded wins, moving into a tie with Glenwood Titan Fever for 42nd all-time.
Wisconsin
De Pere: Onalaska won the event in its first appearance, becoming the fourth different winner in the past five years at De Pere. Hilltoppers now have four wins in 2025 – could they make a run at a program record-tying six wins this year?
Eau Claire Memorial: Reedsburg took both vocals and choreo for their second recorded win, the only other one being a split-caption decision at Monona Grove in 2020. It was a nice upswing for Choraliers, who had not made finals at any of their three prior competitions this season.
Sparta: Monona Grove took a split-caption win over Holmen to become the second winner at Sparta in as many years since the competition rebooted. The win was Silver Connection’s first since 2022 and tenth all-time. Monona’s ten recorded wins in Wisconsin put them into a tie with storied programs Logan and Milton.
