Marysville closed out the competitive scene in Ohio, and there are just a few more events taking place across the country that feature choirs from the Buckeye State.

Large Mixed

  1. Marysville “Swingers Unlimited” (4 first-place votes, no change from last week)

  2. Solon “Music In Motion” (NC)

  3. Loveland “By Request” (NC)

  4. Findlay “First Edition” (NC)

  5. Fairfield “Choraliers” (NC)

  6. Piqua “The Company” (+1)

  7. Olentangy “Keynotes” (+1)

  8. Grove City “Touch of Class” (-2)

  9. ETC “The All Americans” (NC)

  10. Beavercreek “Friends” (NC)

News and Notes

The theme for the week is minimal changes. Grove City slides a couple ranks down, bumping Piqua and Olentangy back ahead of them. Olentangy rises on the strength of a fourth-place showing at Marysville.

Small Mixed

  1. Ross “Legacy” (4 first-place votes, no change from last week)

  2. Euclid “Varsity Chorale” (NC)

  3. North Royalton “Royal Harmony” (NC)

  4. Garfield Heights “Music Express” (NC)

  5. Kenton “Top Twenty” (NC)

  6. Buckeye Valley “Visions” (+2)

  7. Twinsburg “Great Expectations” (-1)

  8. Alliance “Jet Setters” (-1)

  9. Edgewood “Choraliers” (NC)

  10. Teays Valley “Prominent Rendition” (NC)

Receiving Votes: Norwood “The Silhouettes”

News and Notes

Similarly to large mixed, only one choir causes any change. Buckeye Valley slides ahead of Twinsburg and Alliance, placing them in the top six.

Single-Gender

  1. Marysville “Swingers Select” (4 first-place votes, no change from last week)

  2. Fairfield “Pure Elegance” (NC)

  3. Loveland “Allure” (NC)

  4. Olentangy “She-notes” (NC)

  5. Grove City “Class Act” (NC)

News and Notes

Not much to say here as all but two of the choirs from Ohio are done competing. Loveland Allure will take the stage this weekend at Show Choir Nationals, and Olentangy She-Notes will take the stage at Heart of America Orlando on Mar. 28.

Looking Ahead

The season has now fully transitioned to national events, as Findlay and Loveland are competing at Nationals this weekend and Olentangy is competing at Heart of America Orlando next weekend.
