Southern Show Choir's Goodbye Weekend for the 2026 Season

This weekend's competitions, one regional and one out-of-region, will mark the end of a very tumultuous 2026 competition season. With that in mind, let's take one more dive into what this weekend of show choir holds for the Southern region! Brandon Show Choir ELITE
Northwest Rankin looks to end their season red hot, hoping to finish the competition year with two consecutive Grand Championships. Primarily, 3A and 2A competition look to stand in their way, with Northeast Jones and South Jones representing those divisions respectively. Jackson Academy, the other 4A group, could also be in the mix for the podium. In the single gender division, Northwest Rankin's treble and bass groups will look to renew their friendly bout from last week with visitor Cristo Rey Fort Worth also in contention. Another group making the trip from Texas will be Burleson Centennial in the 2A tier. In the 1A division, Clinton Christian Academy look to be the favorites ahead of Pass Christian, Pisgah, and Morton in what will be a competitive 1A division battle.

Over at HOA Orlando, there will be a handful of Southern show choirs making their final appearances of the season. This list includes Madison Central/Rosa Scott, Jackson Prep, and Tarpon Springs. While Rosa Scott and Tarpon Springs will be competing in a one-on-one faceoff in the open division, Madison Central and Jackson Prep will be facing the likes of Los Alamitos, Johnston, Westside, and many other top groups from across the nation.
