PHOTO: Nathan Ensley | In one of the most secluded, yet underrated scenes across the country, Virginia will play host to some interesting cross-regional matchups to mark the halfway point of the season.

March is coming in like a lion in Ohio, as two major competitions at Fairfield and Solon kick off the second-to-last weekend of the Buckeye State’s show choir scene. 

Herbert Hoover rose to the top at Cabell Midland, while Hurricane, Winfield and Martinsburg all secured event or division wins in Ohio and Virginia.

Twelve choirs across three states will converge at Cabell Midland in what will be one of the most competitive competitions of the West Virginia season
