PHOTO: Nathan Ensley | The 2026 season is drawing near, and while last year's season was delightfully chaotic, looking forward, the community is probably in for another great year of shocking upsets and unpredictable moments.

Absent of large choirs this year, DeKalb will offer several smaller programs a chance to shine in the spotlight.

New Castle and Columbia City both scored division wins against more established competitors. Bonus: two Fort Wayne large groups mix it up.

Carroll features handfuls of groups from around Fort Wayne, plus an anticipated season debut from Lafayette Jefferson.

An unsettled power dynamic between small schools and large schools, along with several late-season battles, headline the upcoming season.
