Troy Buchanan Show Choir Invitational has been Canceled

Slated for Saturday, February 5th the Troy Buchanan Show Choir Invitational has been canceled. With a generational snow storm hitting majority of the midwest making travel hard for schools, it forced Troy to pull the plug on its wonderful event.

Troy's lineup included:

Mitchell "Friend de Coup"

(Received 2nd last week at Omaha Westside, walking away with Best Choreography, Best Band & Best Ballad)

Waubonsie "Sound Check" & "Resonance"

(This would have been the first time Waubonsie competed since 2020.

Waubonsie is now competing at Danville Midwest Classic, a competition shaping to look like an Illinois showdown)

Peoria "Soundwave'

(Peoria is coming off a massive win at Bishop Dwenger. They beat some top tier choirs in Marysville, Homestead & Northrop)

Mt. Zion "Swingsations", "You've Got Male", & "Les Femmes"

(The reigning Grand Champions at Troy, "Swingsations" took a week off after sweeping at Kankakee. Beating two very talented groups; Glenwood "Titan Fever" & "Manteno Magic")

This competition would have been a great early test for these 4 very talented programs.

Troy Buchanan "Express" & "Soundwave" are excited to see everyone back in 2023!
