PHOTO: Parker Armstrong | Martinsburg is the eastern panhandle's only competition this season, and Winfield successfully shuffled its competition back from January due to winter weather.

March is coming in like a lion in Ohio, as two major competitions at Fairfield and Solon kick off the second-to-last weekend of the Buckeye State’s show choir scene. 

Herbert Hoover rose to the top at Cabell Midland, while Hurricane, Winfield and Martinsburg all secured event or division wins in Ohio and Virginia.

The last weekend of February is the most packed weekend in Ohio show choir this season, with 4 competitions taking place throughout the state! Alliance, Grove City, Ross, and Teays Valley each bring competitive lineups that should help Ohio end February on a high note. 

Franklin Central held serve at Center Grove, Clinton cleaned up at Jackson Prep, Westside sang their way to the top at Omaha South and Bloomington Kennedy continued its 2026 tear.

This week marks one of the biggest comps in Indiana this year, with CG Best of the Midwest bringing in some of the best groups within the metro and from out of state.

Tupelo and Winfield took overall wins as single-gender groups, and Christopher Jive and the Uptown 45 became the newest member of the overall winner's club.

Elkhorn North, Avon, and Keller continue their stellar seasons, and both Wheatons win their respective competitions.

The banks of the Kanawha River will play host to several competitive West Virginia small choirs, plus a trio of Ohio large mixed programs.

Hurricane leads the Large Mixed field, while a handful of Medium Mixed groups look to start the season off on the right foot.
