Ankeny Centennial, Aberdeen Central, Sioux Falls Washington and Sioux Falls Roosevelt all took steps forward at Cavalier Classic.

O'Gorman and Vermillion are both set to host competitions this weekend, with most of the rest of the state's groups competing somewhere.

Washington's comp is one of the longest-running in South Dakota. True to form, the contest will feature most of the other local powers.

Sioux Falls Jefferson promised a phenomenal competition with groups from surrounding states, and the event 100% delivered.

A titantic trio of Waukee Northwest, Lincoln Southwest, and Waconia will bring early intensity to Sioux Falls.

Behind the Big Five large show choir schools sit a handful of dedicated small groups - O'Gorman, Harrisburg, Vermillion and Dell Rapids.
